Support

Support for understanding your child or teen's needs and navigating family challenges together.

When you're concerned about your teen
Parents often notice changes before anyone else—shifts in mood, behaviour, emotions, motivation, coping, or relationships that feel difficult to understand or manage. You may be wondering whether what you're seeing is part of typical development, a response to stress, or a sign that your teen needs additional support.

When anxiety, emotions, behaviour, or conflict are affecting daily life
You may be noticing anxiety, emotional outbursts, irritability, withdrawal, low mood, school-related difficulties, conflict at home, or ongoing struggles with emotional regulation. Even when everyone is doing their best, it can be difficult to know how to respond or where to begin.

When family life feels tense or disconnected
Challenges within a family can affect everyone. Communication may feel strained, conflicts may happen more often, or family members may feel frustrated, uncertain, or disconnected from one another. You may be looking for support to better understand what is happening and find new ways to move forward together.

When you want guidance alongside your youth or teen's therapy
Sometimes parents want support in understanding what their teen is experiencing and how best to help between sessions. Parent and family support can complement your teen's individual therapy by providing space to ask questions, discuss concerns, and explore ways to create consistency and support at home.

Parent and family support offers a steady, collaborative space to understand your teen's emotional, behavioural, or mental health needs, explore what may be contributing to challenges, and identify practical strategies that support your family's wellbeing.

Together, we work to better understand what may be happening beneath the surface, strengthen communication, build on family strengths, and develop approaches that feel aligned with your values and your youth or teen's developmental stage.

When helpful, we may also integrate insights from your teen's therapy, school environment, healthcare providers, or family dynamics to help ensure support feels coordinated, consistent, and grounded.
