    It’s an opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what’s bringing you in, and get a sense of whether the approach here feels like a good fit.

  • Sessions supports children, youth, adults, couples, and families.

    People come to therapy for many different reasons, and our conversations can focus on whatever feels most important or meaningful in your life right now.

  • Yes. Sessions offers a free 15‑minute consultation to briefly discuss what you’re looking for and help you get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

    If you’d like to book one, you can fill out the contact form and we’ll follow up to arrange a time.

  • To get started, use the Contact & Booking Request form to send a brief note. We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with available times and next steps.

  • In the first session, we’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. We’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences and goals so we can begin to think together about what might be most supportive.

    There may also be space to explore some initial ideas or strategies that could help you feel more grounded as you move forward.

  • No. You don’t need the “right words” or a clear plan. Just coming as you are is enough, and we’ll take things one step at a time together.

  • A 50‑minute individual session (for adults, children, and youth) is $180.

    A 50‑minute couples or family session is $195. A 15‑minute consultation is free.

    Services are provided by a Registered Social Worker. Many extended health insurance plans offer coverage for social work services, though coverage varies by provider. Clients are encouraged to check with their insurance company to confirm eligibility.

  • Yes. A receipt is provided for all services delivered by a Registered Social Worker (RSW).

    Clients are responsible for payment at the time of the session, and can submit their receipt for reimbursement according to their plan.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask for 24 hours’ notice.

    Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at the full session rate.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on what someone is hoping to focus on. Some people come for a shorter period to explore a specific concern, while others prefer longer‑term work as they reflect on patterns in their relationships, emotions, or life experiences.

    Many people begin with weekly sessions and adjust the pace over time. We can regularly check in together about how the process is feeling and what makes the most sense moving forward.

  • Yes. Your privacy is important, and what you share in therapy is kept confidential within professional and legal limits. I will review these limits with you at the beginning of our work together so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Most sessions take place securely online, allowing clients across Ontario to join from a private space that feels comfortable to them using a phone, tablet, or computer.

    In‑person sessions are also available in Ottawa when preferred.

  • Sessions is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please call 911, contact your local crisis line, or go to the nearest emergency department for immediate support.
